What's new for Sean Meriwether?
March 2010: College Boys edited by Shane Allison
The title story of "The Silent Hustler" appears in this TLA top selling anthology! This steamy collection relishes the joys of self-discovery and the revelations that happen when a young man has freedom to pursue his interests—in bed and out. Tuck in with Ryan Wolff and his college roommate as they rustle up some action in the Big Apple.
March 2010: Lost Library: Gay Fiction Rediscovered edited by Tom Cardamone
My incredibly personal essay about the recently departed Lynn Hall's YA novel, Sticks and Stones, appears in Lost Library. The novel had a huge impact on my young life and this piece allowed me to revisit that territory. Where once books were a rural kid's primary entry into gay life, I was lucky to find YA gay lit for me to start on my path. The essay will be publised on Velvet Mafia in June, 2010.
October, 2009: The Silent Hustler is here...
Best known for editing the edgy gay fiction of Velvet Mafia
Sean Meriwether has been quietly building up his own body
of work. The Silent Hustler collects his short fiction published
over the last decade. Meriwether's fiction spans in range from
the literary “Things I Can’t Tell My Father,” to the revolutionary
in “Burn the Rich,” to the downright raunchy “Sneaker Queen.”
Slip into bed with The Silent Hustler. You won’t feel guilty
in the morning.
Update: The Silent Hustler has been nominated for a Lambda Literary Award and the Edmund White award for Debut Fiction with the Publishing Triangle.

May, 2007: Hot
Cops: Gay Erotic Stories edited by Shane Allison (Cleis Press)
What
is it about cops that so excites gay men? Could it be the buzz cut and
chiseled jaw, those bulging thighs under tight blue serge, the cool mirrored
glasses that reflect unbridled lust in the eyes (and other body parts)
of their beholders? Maybe it’s the promise of punishment at the
end of a nightstick. Perhaps it’s the sheer pleasure of transgression
— of getting down and dirty with a man who’s supposed to enforce
the law but seems more interested in the perp than in his crime. Hot
Cops: Gay Erotic Stories explores the hotter, wilder side of these
masculine icons.
